PULYGRIND was developed several years ago in cooperation with one of the leading manufacturers of espresso machine grinders in Italy. The goal was to provide a means to removes ground coffee buildup and any residual oder from coffee in the grinding and dosing chamber. It was critical that the process not require any disassembly are fine tuning of the grinder adjustment as part of the process.

The result of this research was a crystal structured, food grade cleaner with no binding agents and no filler. PULYGRIND is truly revolutionary and its ease of use makes it the only cleaner of its kind appropriate for grinders built into automatic espresso machines as well as integrated doser grinders like the La Marzocco Swift.

PULYGRIND is unique for the following:

• The binder-free crystal structure will not create dust and air borne residue that could damage or impede the operation of automatic machines. It also makes for easier cleanup in the doser for conventional grinders.
• The crystals process though the grinder without any adjustments to the mills. Sensitive adjustments are unchanged by the cleaning process: an industry exclusive.
• The food grade components are gluten free, removing any possible harm that may arise from exposure to those with wheat allergies.
• PULYGRIND is will not dull the mills with continued use as some grains may (such as bulgar wheat) and will actually recondition the mills with consistent use, increasing the useful life of the mills.
• The single dose packaging insures freshness (it is a food product, after all) and insures proper portion control.
• Unlike bean shaped tablets, PULYGRIND contains neither binders nor fillers; the 20 gram packet is more than sufficient for weekly cleaning. The portion size also insures that hen used with automated espresso machines, the brewing chamber of automatic espresso machines will not be overloaded and cause a piston failure.
