Grinder Mills. Angle, frequency and direction of the teeth are dependent upon the speed, power and rotation of the grinder motor. Note the changes in the tooth pattern [A].
Be careful to note the rotation among often similar mill sets; they must be matched and not interchanged. Take a look at the left rotation mills [B] and right rotation mills [C] below.
Cross-over Mills. Though the tooth patterns of different manufacturers vary, there are enough similarities among the hard to find examples that some cross-over is possible. Matching the outside dimension is more important than the inside or thickness measurements for most mills. Don’t hesitate to give us a call for the odd stuff.
Most Common. With so many grinders and even more simply private labeled by equipment manufacturers, it can be difficult to sort out the most likely mill to fit your grinder. We have added a column with a red checkmark to indicate the most common grinder mills and applications.
Just because a mill isn’t common doesn’t mean we don’t have them in stock; we have a wall full of them.
It also doesn’t mean that we will stock every mill set ever made or even listed. If you have one of the three Mazzer three phase conicals ever to come to the States, you can expect to wait a couple of weeks for us to bring them in for you. So stock up.
Dura-Mills:
We have a limited inventory of titanium alloy (not simply plated) mills. They last 300% to 600% longer than standard mills, grind faster and run cooler.
